Cannonball Supercar set to finish first stage in Killarney

The Cannonball supercar spectacle is returning to Killarney this year, with the town hosting the finish line for the first stage of the event on Friday, September 12.
The cars are expected to arrive at the Brehon Hotel at 6pm.
Cannonball founder Alan Bannon confirmed the charity event will run from September 12tto 14.
The route begins at the Johnstown Estate in Enfield and includes stops in Ballymaloe, Killarney, Clare, Sligo, and Cavan before finishing in Naas, Co. Kildare.
The event, which features a variety of luxury cars including Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Aston Martin, is expected to attract over 200,000 spectators across the country.
Host towns will feature free festivals with music, entertainment, and fancy dress.
Radio Nova presenters PJ Gallagher and Jim McCabe are supporting the fundraiser for the Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation.
The Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation provides in-home nursing care and respite support for children up to six years of age with severe disabilities.

The charity has supported 95 children in Kerry since 1997 and is currently assisting 12 children in the county.
Cannonball has raised over €2 million for Irish children’s charities. The event offers a chance for the public to see high-performance cars up close and enjoy the festival atmosphere. It is a free family event.
