Ted’s Opel Vauxhall Run Returns for 2025

The 18th edition of Ted’s Opel Vauxhall Run will take place on Saturday, August 9, 2025, with the Mills Inn in Ballyvourney once again acting as the base for the event.
The annual run, which started in 2008, has grown into one of the largest Opel/Vauxhall gatherings in Ireland. While mainly based in the Cork and Kerry region, it attracts participants from across the country.
Registration opens at 9am on Saturday morning with an entry fee of €20 per car, which includes a starter pack. The first award will be presented at 10am before the cars roll out at 11am.
This year’s route will pass through scenic areas of the Cork/Kerry border, including Loo Bridge, Kilgarvan, Kenmare, the Caha Pass, Glengarriff (with a stop at Cronin’s Service Station in Ballylickey), before continuing through Kealkill, Ballingeary, Inchigeela, Toons Bridge, and returning to the Mills Inn for prizegiving and a BBQ.
Perpetual and Special Awards will be presented throughout the day along with a raffle and spot prizes. The event is again supported by Opel Ireland, Cartell.ie, and Casey Caravan Services.
All Opel, Vauxhall, Bedford and GM vehicles are welcome, regardless of age or condition. The run continues to raise funds for Dogs for the Disabled, a charity it has supported since day one.
Spectators are welcome along the route or at the Mills Inn.
