Ted’s Opel Vauxhall Run Returns to Ballyvourney

Ted’s Opel Vauxhall Run is scheduled for Saturday, August 9th, 2025, returning to the Mills Inn, Ballyvourney, Co. Cork, as its base. The event welcomes all Opel, Vauxhall, Bedford, and GM vehicles, regardless of age.

Registration begins at 9 am on Saturday morning, with a fee of €20 per car, which includes a starter pack. The first award of the day will be presented at 10 am, and cars will depart at 11 am.

The route will cover scenery in the Cork/Kerry border region, passing through Loo Bridge, Kilgarvan, Kenmare, Caha Pass, and Glengarriff. A midway stop is planned at Cronin’s Service Station in Ballylickey. The run will then continue through Kealkill, Ballingeary, Inchigeela, and Toons Bridge, returning to the Mills Inn for a prizegiving and BBQ.

Perpetual and special awards will be presented, and a raffle for spot prizes will also take place. Opel Ireland, Cartell.ie, and Casey Caravan Services are continuing their support for the event.

The run has been associated with Dogs for the Disabled since its first event in 2008, and fundraising for the charity remains a key objective.
