Devine and O’Sullivan aim for for Donegal hat-trick
Callum Devine and Noel O’Sullivan, after their unprecedented fourth consecutive victory at the Rally of the Lakes, are now focused on a third straight win at the upcoming Donegal International Rally.
The entry list for the June 20 to 22 Donegal has been announced and as expected, the Skoda Fabia Rally2 pairing of Devine and O’Sullivan are seeded at number one.
Having conquered the Donegal stages in both 2023 and 2024, they will be pushing hard to secure a historic hat-trick on the notoriously challenging roads of the north-west.
The top end of the entry list also features familiar Kerry names in the co-driver’s seat. Ger Conway will be calling the notes for Meirion Evans in the Toyota GR Yaris Rally2. Shane Buckley joins Sam Moffett in their Hyundai i20 N Rally2, while John McCarthy will be navigating for Declan Gallagher in a Ford Fiesta Rally2.
Evans and Conway led the Rally of the Lakes briefly on the Saturday evening.
Adding to the Kingdom’s representation is Fossa’s Sam Leech, who, alongside co-driver Barry Attridge, will be competing in the Honda Civic Type R and will start at number 144.
