To whom it may concern,
As you may know, there is a major supercar event, called Bumblebee 1000 with over 100
Supercars coming to Kerry from Friday June 13th to Sunday June 15th
.
We will have a Tralee town centre stop on Friday June 13th in Tralee. The participants will stay
overnight at the Europe Hotel Killarney on Friday & Saturday night. On Saturday June 14th we
will tour the Ring of Kerry returning to Killarney town centre later in the afternoon.
This event is sure to bring a large number of spectators to both Tralee & Killarney as well as the
many towns along the route.
Hopefully this event will be a great boost to the local economy for both the weekend and the
future with the aim of promoting the area around the Country and attracting some of The
Bumblebee 1000 crews back into the county on holidays again.
This event is coming for free and in return we would like to raise as much money as possible for
the charity involved called “Little Blue Heroes”, which the event is in aid of. Last year’s
Bumblebee 1000 event raised over €240,000 for Little Blue Heroes.
This is a truly worthy cause, with families in Co. Kerry availing of its services, we would like to
support the charity as much as we can for this reason.
