Tandragee Road Races next up for Stephen Walsh

Ardfert-based motorcycle racer will turn in attention to the Tandragee Road Races in County Down next after a successful weekend on the Isle of Man.
Walsh contested the Pre-TT races on the Isle of Man and recorded an 11th place finish in the Junior 200 class and a 13th place finish in the Senior 500 class.
“There were 29 racing in each class and my target was to qualify, so the results were all the better,2 he said. “It’s a great event, great circuit and great camaraderie.”
His main focus this year is to record a finish in the Manx Grand Prix. He will make his third start in the event in August.
“I was going to enter the short circuit races in Kirkistown in June but I have pulled that entry and will now go to the Tandragee Road Races at the end of June, it will be my first time there,” he added.
“I will skip the Armoy Road Races in July, the full target this season is the Grand Prix and Armoy is too close, timewise and I can’t risk engine or bike damage.”
