The Road Racing Alliance of Ireland (RRAI) has launched a crucial GoFundMe campaign to raise the necessary funds to bring road racing back to life in the Republic of Ireland.

This fundraising drive is particularly vital for events like the Athea Road Races, which operate under the RRAI’s umbrella.

Organisers state  that without these funds, Irish road racing in the South could disappear permanently.

The RRAI has been working to revive iconic races such as Walderstown, Faugheen, and Athea, aiming for events this July and September.

Despite securing insurance and assembling a team, they now urgently need public support to overcome financial hurdles.

Drawing inspiration from efforts to save races in the North, the RRAI is appealing to the road racing community to donate and share the campaign widely.

The RRAI urges everyone to share the post and spread the word to help save Irish road racing in the South.
