Kerry Women Urged to Join Motorsport Networking Event

Kerry motorsport enthusiasts are being encouraged to sign up for a special networking event organised by Motorsport Ireland and the Women in Motorsport Commission.

The event is taking place on Friday, May 9th, 2025, at The Athlone Springs Hotel. While strong booking numbers have been reported, organisers are keen to see even more women from Kerry and across the country attend.

The event aims to bring together women involved or interested in any aspect of motorsport. The agenda includes an optional “Introduction to Motorsport” session, arrival and networking opportunities, a complimentary buffet, and an official event opening with interesting guests and speakers lined up. The event is scheduled to close at 9:00 pm.

Women interested in attending are asked to fill out a registration form by Monday, April 28th, 2025. Confirmation of places will be sent via email after registration details are confirmed. It is important to note that a place is only secured upon receipt of a confirmation email.

Any queries about the event can be directed to miwomenscommission@gmail.com. For attendees under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must also register and accompany them for the duration of the event.

Rosemary Walsh, Chairperson of the Motorsport Ireland Women in Motorsport Commission, said they look forward to welcoming attendees to what promises to be a fantastic event.
