Overseas drivers arrive for The Rose Hotel Circuit of Kerry Rally
The Circuit of Kerry rally weekend starts with a reception for overseas competitors at The Rose Hotel tonight, Friday, from 7pm to 9pm.

The rally has always had international entries. In 1975, Welsh driver Denis Cardell competed. This year, Steve Wood from Wales is back in his Citroen CR Rally2.
Shane Buckely returns from London to co-drive Sam Moffett.
Other overseas competitors include Declan Boyle’s co-driver Patrick Walsh (North Wales), Daniel Cronin’s navigator Donnchadh Burke (Glasgow), Hugh Hunter (Wales), and Andy Marchbank (England). Hunter and Marchbank finished on the podium in 2023.
Mick O’Brien of the London Irish Motor Club is also on the entry list.
Johnny O’Sullivan, who lives in America, is also competing. Karl Egan is his co-driver. This is O’Sullivan’s first time at this rally.
All overseas drivers will compete for the London Irish Motor Club Perpetual Shield.
Just as newspapers and magazines are paid for, digital editorial content will also have to be paid for.
