Circuit of Kerry Rally to feature two Motorsport innovation start-ups – Tigre and Pinamite – with support from Kerry Motorsport News

The Rose Hotel Circuit of Kerry Rally this weekend is set to showcase two exciting new projects that could change the face of motorsport.

First up is Tigre Motor Club. This is an online motor club, started at MTU Tralee and supported by Kerry Motorsport News.

Tigre Motor Club was named runner-up in the Munster Technological University Enterprise Showcase and Kerry Start-Up Challenge 2025.

They’ll be showing off their project at the RallyTown event in Tralee on Saturday afternoon, and then again at the service park at MTU all day Sunday.

Tigre Motor Club is all about building an online community for motorsport fans. It provides a platform for people to connect, share information, and celebrate their love for rallying and racing.

Then, on Sunday morning, rally fans will get to see Pineamite in action. This is a live broadcast project created by Ruari Bell, a rally driver based in London. Pineamite uses videos sent in by fans to create live rally streams.

Kerry Motorsport News has been working with Pineamite, having collaborated at the recent West Cork Rally and now again at the Circuit of Kerry.

Pineamite’s idea is to let fans become part of the broadcast. They send in their videos, which are then put together in real-time to create a live stream. This means people can watch the rally action as it happens, right from the stage. Pineamite wants to change how rally broadcasting is done, using content created by the fans themselves.

Pineamite has an app that lets people watch live action from rallies around the world. They’re encouraging fans to share their footage, which they hope will help grow the sport and bring it to a wider audience.

So, while the cars are racing, these two innovative projects will be showing how technology is shaping the future of motorsport, each in their own unique way.
