Cronin and Galvin Enter Carlow Forestry as BRC prep
Fresh from their West Cork Rally victory, Keith Cronin and Mikie Galvin have entered the Carlow Forest Rally, the opening round of the 2025 Sligo Pallets Forest Rally Championship.

Driving a Citroen C3 Rally2, they are using the rally to prepare for the next round of the British Rally Championship, a gravel rally in Carlisle in mid-April.
Their last Irish Forest Rally Championship outing was a win at the 2022 Moonraker Forest Rally.
Cronin and Galvin join a field of over 125 cars for the Carlow event. They’ll face competition from current champion Derek Mackarel, David Condell, Gareth Mimnagh, and last year’s Cork winner Jason Mitchell in a new Skoda Fabia Rally2, among other top crews.

The 2025 Sligo Pallets Forest Rally Championship kicks off with the Carlow Forest Rally, a new event bringing the series back to eastern Ireland after a decade.
Sligo Pallets has extended its title sponsorship through 2027.
The originally scheduled Donegal Forest Rally was postponed due to storm damage, with organizers working to reschedule.
The Carlow event features six stages totaling nearly 65km in the Wicklow Mountains. The season continues with:

May 11: Sean Conlon Tipperary Forest Rally (Mitchelstown)
May 31: Mayo Forest Rally (Ballina)
August 10: Jim Walsh Forest Rally (Ballyhoura Mountains)
September 6: Lakeland Stages (Enniskillen)
September 19-20: Bushwhacker (Omagh, including night stages)
