Galvin appointed as Reen’s Rathmore, FIAT ambassador
Defending Irish Tarmac Rally co-driver Mikie Galvin has become a brand ambassador for Reen’s Rathmore and FIAT.
He will drive a FIAT 600 hybrid 1.2 petrol for the upcoming season.
Galvin’s title defence , alongside Keith Cronin begins this Friday at the Clonakilty Park Hotel West Cork Rally.
They will compete in the Citroen C3 Rally 2 that drove to second overall in the recent East Riding Stages Rally, the opening round of the British Rally Championship.
The West Cork Rally, starting March 14th, features a strong field of drivers. Cronin aims to be the first Cork driver to win consecutive West Cork Rallies.
“I am honoured to be chosen as a brand ambassador for such a recognised brand like Fiat. Recently I have built a really good relationship with all the guys at Reens Fiat Rathmore. Such nice people. The car is fantastic and I’m having loads of fun making content with it,” said Galvin who is also making a name for himself as a film producer.
As well a working with several drama and film-making groups in the Killarney area he makes social media reels for main dealers all over Kerry and beyond.
