Athea Road Races update: Public meeting scheduled
The Southwest Road Racing Club will hold a public meeting regarding the
The meeting will be held at the Con Colbert Hall, Athea, at 7:30pm on March 13 and aims to update locals on race planning.
The club has secured event insurance through the Road Racing Alliance of Ireland and hopes to run the much-missed event on the weekend of September 13th and 14th.
A fundraising motorcycle road run is scheduled for Sunday, March 9th, starting at 12 noon in Athea. Registration opens at 11 AM.
The club will also participate in the Abbeyfeale St. Patrick’s Day Parade to promote the races.
Club president Mike Dalton stated the club will answer all questions, and provide follow-up information if needed.
Just as newspapers and magazines are paid for, digital editorial content will also have to be paid for.
