Škoda Motorsport launched a video series to raise awareness about spectator safety during World Rally Championship (WRC) events.
The series highlights the various efforts behind the scenes to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for spectators:
• Marshals: Dedicated volunteers who identify safe viewing spots and monitor spectators along the stages.
• FIA Safety Delegate: Formerly held by Michèle Mouton, this role involves inspecting stages before competition.
• Rally Control: Monitors live footage from cars and coordinates with marshals to address any safety concerns.
The final video provides practical safety advice for spectators, emphasising their role in creating a safe environment for both themselves and the drivers.
Škoda Motorsport emphasises spectator safety as a top priority and aims to improve the overall WRC experience through this initiative.
