Kerry navigators dominate Southern 4 Rally Championship
Kerry navigators have dominated the 2024 Ace Signs Southern 4 Rally Championship, claiming the top three positions in the overall standings. Eoin O’Donoghue(Killarney), Paul McGlinchey (Lisselton), and Keith McCarthy (Lixnaw), guided their respective drivers to impressive results throughout the season.
O’Donoghue, navigating for Vincent O’Shea, secured the top spot, while McGlinchey, primarily partnering with Ballylongford’s Tommy Mason in a Class 12 Escort, claimed second place. McCarthy, who navigated for Killarney’s Tadgh O’Sullivan in a Class 14 Escort, rounded out the top three.
Eddie Doherty from Kilkenny emerged as the 2024 Champion Driver, with O’Shea from Kenmare and Cal McCarthy from Cork completing the podium.
The official prizegiving ceremony for the championship will take place this Saturday night at the Abbey Hotel in Ballyvourney.
