Classic car enthusiasts organise Surprise Toy Drive for Sick Children at University Hospital Kerry
Car enthusiasts from North Kerry are spreading Christmas cheer with a secret toy drive for the children in the Cashel Ward of University Hospital Kerry. The exact date of the drive is being kept under wraps to ensure a surprise delivery for the young patients who will be spending the holidays in the hospital.

“We wanted to do something special for the children who won’t be able to celebrate Christmas at home this year,” said a spokesperson for the group. “We’re planning to fill our cars with toys and treats for kids of all ages, and then drive in a convoy to the hospital for a big surprise drop-off.”
The group has also set up a GoFundMe page (link included below) to help raise additional funds for purchasing toys. Every donation, big or small, will help bring a smile to a child’s face on Christmas Day.
“We understand that being in the hospital during the holidays can be difficult for children,” continued the spokesperson. “We hope that this toy drive will bring some joy and a sense of normalcy to their Christmas celebration.”
