Important changes to logistics –  Be prepared!

This bulletin outlines key changes to the logistics for service crews and drivers participating in the upcoming Killarney Towers Killarney Historic Rally.

Key Updates:

Scrutiny: Moved to a new venue, Four Park Business Park (Tralee side of Farranfore Village) for inspections 1100 hrs to 1700 hrs).

Trailer Park: Separate trailer park at Castleisland Mart (same location as Killarney Forestry Rally) for unloading. Unloading at Four Park Business Park is not allowed.

Parc Ferme: Standard location at Lewis Road car park on Friday night.

Start Ramp: Located outside Killarney Plaza Hotel (approach from opposite direction of Rally of the Lakes).

Service Park: Located at Liebherr Container Crane Factory in Fossa. Access only from xx pm on Friday evening (strictly enforced).

Refuelling moved to a short distance near Killarney (Fossa GAA Club grounds).

Post-Event: Invited crews to town centre finish ramp, remaining crews to Four Park for regulatory hold before release.

Parking: Use car park behind Plaza Hotel (Signage will direct you).

Scrutiny:

Location: Four Park Business Centre, Farranfore

Hours: 11:00-17:00

No trailers allowed.

Parc Ferme:

Location: Lewis Road Carpark

Available: Friday, Nov 29th (12:00 onwards)

Security will be present.

Post-Event Parc Ferme:

Location: Four Park Business Estate, Farranfore

Pre-Event Service Area:

Location: Castleisland Mart (V92 KW92)

Open: Friday, Nov 29th (09:00-17:00)

Onsite: Tyre trucks, Refuel Rig

Trailer Park:

Location: Killarney Rugby Club (opens Friday, Nov 29th, 11:00 onwards)

Park at owner’s risk.

No trailers allowed near Scrutiny, Rally HQ, or Service Area.

Service Area:

Location: Liebherr Ltd, Fossa (V93 H685)

Access: Only from Friday, Nov 29th (20:00 onwards)

No parking on approach roads before 20:00 (Gardaí will enforce).

Service passes are required (one per car, “No Pass = No Entry”).

Additional entry on Saturday, Nov 30th (06:30 onwards).

Refuel Zone:

Location: Fossa GAA Club (V93 D261)

Open: Saturday, Nov 30th (06:30 onwards)

Euro M Sport will be on-site.

Fuel drums must be placed in the Refuel Zone (labelled with car number) if not using Euro M Sport.

No refuelling outside the designated zone.

Ceremonial Start:

Location: Main Street, Killarney (Friday, Nov 29th, 19:00)

All crews are invited to attend (especially Historic Section cars 1-20, Modified Section first 20 cars, and local Kerry crews).

Cars depart Parc Ferme in seeded order (from 18:45) and proceed to Main Street for a welcoming party.
