More on the Red Bull F1 car’s sighting in Connemara – and the Red Bull Kerry connection
Just days before their thrilling F1 Showrun in Galway, a mysterious video emerged showing a Formula One car being driven through the stunning landscapes of Connemara.
The footage, shared by Kerry Motorsport News, has ignited speculation about the nature of this secret project, with a full reveal expected before Christmas.
“With [rumoured] sightings of the Formula One car across Connemara earlier in the week, Irish F1 fans will be keen to find out what David Coulthard and the Oracle Red Bull Racing crew were up to, with a reveal expected before Christmas,” said a RedBull press statement.
This isn’t the first time Red Bull has pulled off such a stunt in Ireland. In 2022, drift sensation Conor Shanahan showcased his skills by drifting a Toyota AE86 along the famous Moll’s Gap stage in Kerry.
The recent Red Bull F1 Showrun in Galway was a massive success, drawing a crowd of 12,500 to Salthill Promenade. The event featured two Formula One cars, driven by David Coulthard and Patrick Friesacher.
Meanwhile, the Shanahan brothers are set to thrill local fans once again at the Killarney Historic Rally on November 30th.
Both Conor and Jack will compete in the modified section of the rally.
