Historic Rally
A top line-up of historic cars are set to start the rally on Sunday with many using the event as a test for the Killarney Historic Rally later in the month.
Locals on that mission include Alan Ring (Subaru Legacy RS), Fergus O’Meara (Ford Escort RS1800) and Paul Ahern (BMW M3).
Ray Hilliard returns home from London for the rally. He will have Senan Raggett in the co-driver’s seat in his Ford Escort Mk1. Raggett is a former clerk of the course for the rally but made his competitive debut at the event 30 years ago and is coming out of retirement especially to mark the anniversary.
Just as newspapers and magazines are paid for, digital editorial content will also have to be paid for.
