Rahill secures third Billy Coleman Award nomination
Motorsport Ireland Rally Academy driver Craig Rahill secured a third Billy Coleman Award Young Driver of the Year nomination by winning class two on Saturday’s Donegal Harvest Rally.
The rally was the final round of the Triton Showers Motorsport Ireland National Rally Championship.
The Ford Fiesta Rally4 driver had previously won the Forest Rally Championship and Motorsport Ireland Junior Rally Series class two titles which also count towards Billy Coleman Award nominations.
“We set out this year to get the three class championships so job done! It was a tricky day but we are happy out,” he said at the Letterkenny finish.
Rahill was also presented with the Drive of the Day award for a standout performance on the event’s fifth stage.
