Noel Moloney leader of New Zealand North Island Rally Championship. ahead of Rally of the Bay of Plenty Championship
Co-driver Noel Moloney is set to head into this weekend’s Rally of the Bay of Plenty as the leader of the co-driver’s section of the New Zealand North Island Rally Championship.

The Bay of Plenty Rally marks the second-to-last round of the championship, and Moloney, alongside driver Quentin Palmer, will be piloting a Mitsubishi Lancer in hopes of securing a championship win.
With the final round, the Waitomo Rally, scheduled for October 20, Moloney and Palmer are currently holding the championship lead. However, Moloney acknowledges the fierce competition ahead, stating, “We are leading the championship, but it’s going to be a big fight at Rally Bay of Plenty. The roads have a bit of everything, so we’re looking forward to the event.”
