Killarney driver Alan Ring and co-driver Adrian Deasy are set to continue their adventure in the FIA European Historic Rally Championship this weekend.
The duo will be competing in their BMW M3 E30 on the challenging Tarmac roads of the Italian island of Elba.
The Rallye Elba Storico marks the return of the event to the FIA EHRC schedule after a one-year absence. It is the seventh round of the championship and the first of two Italian events, followed by the Sanremo Rally Storico in October.
The Rallye Elba Storico entry list is impressive, with 27 FIA EHRC crews from across Europe participating. The event features ten stages totalling 133.58 kilometres of challenging tarmac roads.
