The local community of Ballyduff rallied together this weekend to support their fellow resident, Anthony O’Carroll, with a three-day fundraising event. The event, in Ballyduff Village, will feature a 7-a-side soccer tournament, live music, and various family-friendly activities.
All proceeds from the event will go towards Anthony’s recovery. The community has shown tremendous support for Anthony, who has faced significant challenges.
The soccer tournament is a highlight of the weekend, with teams from across the parish participating. The matches will be fiercely contested, and the winners of the Cup and Shield Knockouts will be awarded prizes at a presentation ceremony on Sunday, September 15th, at Walsh’s Bar.
The event will also feature live music and entertainment, ensuring there is something for everyone. The organizers would like to thank all the volunteers who helped make the fundraiser a success.
