Mural unveiled in honour of injured racer Anthony O’Carroll
A striking new mural has been unveiled in the village of Ballyduff to honour injured motorcycle racer Anthony O’Carroll.

The vibrant artwork, painted by local artist Jack Cummins, depicts O’Carroll riding his motorcycle on a road racing circuit.
The mural, located on the gable wall of Yer Man’s bar, was created in anticipation of the Anthony O’Carroll fundraiser, a three-day event aimed at raising funds for the racer’s recovery.
O’Carroll sustained serious injuries during the Southern 100 race on the Isle of Man in July and remains in intensive care.
Cummins, who is also known for his work on the Ballyduff Tidy Towns mural, captured O’Carroll’s passion for racing in the colourful and detailed artwork.

The mural serves as a symbol of the community’s support for O’Carroll and his family during this difficult time.
The Anthony O’Carroll fundraiser weekend will feature appearances from several prominent Irish road racers, including James and Liam Chawke.
The event is expected to draw a large crowd and raise significant funds to help O’Carroll on his road to recovery.
