Chawke brothers to attend Ballyduff fundraiser for injured rider Anthony O’Carroll
The North Kerry village of Ballyduff is gearing up for a special fundraising weekend (September 13-15) to support injured motorcycle racer Anthony O’Carroll.
The event boasts appearances from some of Ireland’s most accomplished road racers, including James Chawke, a Manx GP winner and TT top 20 regular, and his brother Liam Chawke, a consistent top 20 finisher at the Manx Grand Prix and fifth place finisher in this year’s Junior Manx Grand Prix.
O’Carroll, a beloved member of the local racing community, suffered serious injuries during the Southern 100 race on the Isle of Man in July. Facing a long road to recovery, he remains in intensive care.
