Irish Tarmac Rally Championship frontrunners clash in Wales
A unique clash of Irish Tarmac Rally Championship frontrunners is set to take place in Wales this weekend.

Rali Ceredigion, the seventh round of the FIA European Rally Championship and the fifth round of the British Rally Championship, will feature a battle between Keith Cronin, and Mikie Galvin, and Callum Devine and Noel O’Sullivan.
Cronin and Galvin, the winners of the recent Ulster Rally and leaders of the Irish Tarmac Rally Championship, are chasing a record-equalling fifth British title in their Fiesta Rally2.
They are currently third in the British standings with one won, the Jim Clark Rally in May, already under their belt.
The Killarney and District Motor Club crew are also leading the Irish Tarmac Rally Championship with just September’s Cork ’20’ left to run.
An intriguing interloper in the mix in Wales is Callum Devine, the defending Irish Tarmac Rally champion.
Devine and his co-driver Noel O’Sullivan are Cronin and Galvin’s chief rivals in the ITRC, and the Cork event is essentially a two-horse race between the two Killarney-based co-drivers.
Devine is returning to the FIA European Rally Championship for the first time since 2020. It will be O’Sullivan’s first ERC event since the 2015 Rallye Açores.
