Irish DriftChampionship to Culminate in Thrilling Finale at 360 Motorsports Park

The 2024 Irish DriŌ Championship is set to conclude with an exhilarating finale at 360 Motorsports Park. Following a successful season opener at Mondello Park, which attracted over 15,000 fans, drifting in Ireland has gained immense popularity.

The championship has seen its fair share of surprises, with Northern Irish driver Harry Kerr securing a win at Round 2 in Cork. With two more events in Newry and Mondello Park remaining, the championship title is still up for grabs.

To mark its 20th anniversary, the Irish Drift Championship is not only moving its final location but also hosting its first-ever nighttime event. The championship has grown significantly this year, featuring over 140 competitors. The finals will be split between two major weekends in Kerry: the PRO 2 class on September 7-8th, and the grand finale at 360 Motorsports Park on September 20-21st.

The timing of the finale is ideal, as it coincides with the week following the European finals in Poland. This allows world champion James Deane, returning from the USA, and current European champion and Red Bull athlete Conor Shanahan to compete in the event. On September 20-21st, the current crop of Irish drivers will face off against each other and the best Irish drivers from the international scene. With live broadcasts worldwide, this event is poised to showcase the Irish DriŌ Championship as the premier and most competitive domestic drifting championship.

In addition to the thrilling drifting action, the event will feature a JDM car culture showcase featuring some of the best Japanese cars, trade stands, and food trucks to entertain fans of all ages.

Don’t miss the chance to witness the best drifting talent and celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Irish Drift Championship in Kerry!
