Ballymac classic car run launched – the place to be on August 4

The 14th Annual Car & Honda 50 Run, organised by Ballymac Vintage Club, takes place on Sunday 4th August. O’Riada’s Bar & Restaurant Ballymac (V92 RF2X) will again be the starting point, kicking off from 9:00am with the always popular Cars & Coffee. This gives everyone the chance to grab a cuppa and a chat, and to give a look around the cars and bikes before we set off on a scenic drive at 11:15am. The run finishes in Knocknagoshel, with the full route being revealed on the day and all cars & motorbikes are welcome, be they road, rally, vintage, or classic.

Thanks to the generous sponsorship from local business, including our main sponsors: Brownes Agri Steel & Builders Providers Castleisland; BG Motors Killarney ; O’Riadas Bar & Restaurant, we will have lots of spot prizes throughout the day.

Proceeds from the day, will be in aid of two worthy local causes: Knocknagoshel Over 55’s Services & Scoil Íde NS Curranes Castleisland.

Knocknagoshel Over 55’s Services operate a voluntary led service, from the heart of their community – the Knocknagoshel Community Centre. The service also promotes the welfare and well-being of the elderly, vulnerable and people in need. Recognising that mental health can be an issue , the service also provides additional supports in the way of ensuring that clients are provided with information and contact details of support. https://www.knocknagoshelmealsonwheels.ie/
