Kerry crews making the trip to Tipp

The fifth round of the Triton Showers Motorsport Ireland National Rally Championship takes place in Clonmel, County Tipperary this weekend.
As ever a large Kerry contingent will make the trip to Tipp.
Leading the Kerry entries, and top modified seeds are Killarney’s Rob Duggan and Ger Conway.
Like the majority of Kerry-based crews, they will steer on a Ford Escort on Sunday.
Other Escort mounted crews include Denis Hickey/Ronald Riordan (Glenflesk) Dave Slattery/Denis Coffey (Glenflesk); Tim Enright/Stephen Buckley (Kilflynn) Brian Hickey/Noel Murphy (Kenmare); and Raymond O’Neill/Jason O’Connor (Milltown).
Kenmare’s Vincent O’Shea will drive his usual Darrian T90 GTR while East Kerry’s Sean Hickey and Noel Fleming compete in a Toyota Starlet.
Ballyheuige’s Gearóid O’Regan and his Glenbeigh co-driver Darragh Lynch continue their national campaign in a Honda Civic Type R and Knocknagoshel’s Paul Stryker and Edwin Walsh are out in a Toyota Corolla Twin Cam.
Killarney-based Tipperary driver Louise Burke will tackle just her second rally in a Peugeot 206.
Kerry-based co-drivers in action include Kieran Reen who is alongside Ronan Creagh in a Honda Civic. Mike Cleary resumes his partnership with Ollie Kierce for the first time since the West Cork Rally in March and Paul McGlinchey will co-drive for Sean Scanlon in a Honda Civic Type R. Kilgarvan’s Damien Price is co-driving for Jack Fennessy in a Ford Fiesta Rally4.
