Alan Ring is in Austria for European Historic Rally Championship’s Rally Weiz
Alan Ring is in Austria contesting Rallye Weiz, a round of the FIA European Historic Rally Championship.
The Austrian event is the final FIA EHRC round on Tarmac before the switch to gravel for next month’s Historic Lahti Rally in Finland, prior to two asphalt events in Italy and a return to gravel for the season-decider in Greece in November.
Ring is driving his BMW M3 E30 in the 13 stage rally which gets underway at lunchtime on Friday.
The rally concludes on Saturday evening.
Paul Nagle is also at the event, the modern section is a round of the European RALLY Trophy and the Killarney man continues his role as FIA Delegate at ERT events
