Anthony O’Carroll update
A family member has confirmed the following
Anthony is responding as well as can be expected to treatment
He is still heavily sedated and in a lot of pain
He was taken off the ventilator today and is breathing on his own now
The family said they are very grateful for all the messages of support from the motorcycle racing community, the wider motorsport community and people in general
Anthony was riding for Ian Lougher Racing at the Southern 100 Road Races on the Isle of Man.
Lougher wanted to withdraw the team from the rest of the meeting but only continued to participate after the O’Carroll family insisted they continue racing for the rest of the week
