Mick Smith/Andy Darlington finished the final stage of Rally Barbados 2024, in style.
His mechanic , Scotsman Mike Horsburgh explains:
“The Imp ran pretty faultlessly all weekend, apart from over-excitement leading to a snapped gear lever on a road section, not needing a drop of oil or coolant for the whole event.
“Sunday’s stages started from the Scotland district of Barbados (naturally), and the weather was a bit like Scotland, with wet tyres being needed for the first loop of stages.
“The crowds loved the little Imp, even before the free samples of Barbados Rum Cake from our new sponsor, which Andy distributed to Marshals along the way. Don’t eat a whole one if you’re driving, kids!”
