Bryan McCarthy is set to make his Canadian Rally Championship debut on the
Pacific Forest Rally is in Merritt, British Colombia next weekend.
Bryan is a member of the famous McCarthy Rally family from Cork City that includes parents Con, Madge, brothers Darren and Greg and sisters Paula, Christine and Nuala.
McCarthy Motorsport is a new team to Stage rallying in Canada, both members of the team come from a Rallycross background and both are members of the SBRCC club in Squamish, BC which they helped start in 2019.
Pacific Forest Rally will be both Bryan and co-driver Chuck Boger’s Canadian rally debuts, and the first event for the newly prepared 1999 Volkswagen GTI.
And what is the Kerry connection to this great Cork motorsport family ? – Bryan served his time as an apprentice mechanic at FAS in Tralee!
