Kerry crews on Circuit of Munster – Rob Duggan returns

This weekend marks the halfway point in the Triton Showers Motorsport Ireland National Rally Championship and there is a sizeable Kerry contingent entered in Sunday’s Circuit of Munster.

Notable among the strong Kerry entry is the return of Rod Duggan and Ger Conway.

The winners of the Modified section of the Killarney Historic Rally last November will contest their first rally of the year together.

Other all-Kerry crews include the Ford Escorts Denis Hickey/Eoin O’Leary, Mike Quinn/Kieran Doherty, Tadhg O’Sullivan/Keith McCarthy, and Dave Slattery/Denis Coffey.

Vincent O’Shea has entered his Darrian T90 GTR, Jack Kelleher will drive another Ford Escort.

Tim Enright and Stephen Buckley have not competed since the 2022 Cork ‘20’ International Rally.

Kerry-based co-drivers on the entry list include John Flemming, Mike Cleary Ger Somers, and Richard Talbot

Tommy Mason and his well-travelled-for-2024 co-driver Paul McGlinchey are also on the entry list as are father and daughter crew Jason Costello and Megan Costello. Both crews compete in Escorts.

Lyons Motor Group are once again the flagship sponsor of the Circuit of Munster Rally. Main dealers in Limerick for Ford, BYD, Jaguar and Land Rover.

Not only are Lyons Motor Group the title sponsors for the event, but they are also the host of Rally HQ, mechanical and document scrutiny as well as hosting the service park in the heart of Limerick city.
