Colin O’Sullivan was second in the Pro Junior class at the Irish Drift Championship

Round two of the Irish Drift Championship was held in Watergrasshill last weekend.

In the Pro2 Junior Class, Jack Caldwell (above right) took first place on the podium with Kerry driver Colin O’Sullivan (above left) taking the well-deserved second place and Alex Butler in third.

Another Kerry driver Kieran Mac Namara, driving under the “Mac Motorsport” (above left) banner was
competing in the IDC Rookie Class. He wasn’t as lucky as Colin as weather conditions proved to be very testing,
His practice sessions were in the dry conditions on Friday with Saturday qualifying sessions being disrupted by thunderstorms.
Round 3 of the IDC championship will take place in Mondello Park on June 29 and 30.
