Kerry Motor Club Autosolo’s are back, taking place at Ballybeggan Racecourse Tralee on May

Kerry Motor Club Autosolo’s are back, taking place at Ballybeggan Racecourse Tralee on May 19th.

Autosolo’s are a great entry into motorsport. It is a test of your precision and car control. Courses are on a sealed surface (closed car parks, for example), marked out by plastic cones or bollards and numbered to help with navigation.

The aim is to complete the course in the correct direction, as quickly and accurately as possible. If you hit a marker, you incur a time penalty, and driving in the wrong direction results in a ‘fail’.

Double driving is permitted. Competition licences are required but one-day licences will be available on the day but must be pre-booked. Road cars can be used.

Regulations are with Motorsport Ireland for approval and entries will open soon. Further details will be released in due course.
