Irish Rally team PCRS Rallysport win Sarikamis Rally in Turkey
Irish Rally team PCRS Rallysport engineered Kerem Kazaz victory on the Irish Rally team PCRS Rallysport win Sarikamis Rally , the opening round of the Turkish Rally Championship over the weekend.
Team Principal Phillip Case explains:
“At18 years and 2 months became the youngest ever winner of a Turkish Rally and did it on his first attempt on home soil at the Sarikamis Rally driving an M-sport Ford Fiesta rally 2 partnered by Andris Malnieks.

Kerem is the son of multiple Turkish rally champion Ercan Kazaz. Ercan has also rallied in Ireland and UK as part of the Nissan Motorsport factory team during the mid 1990s.
The preparations for Atolye Kazaz racing, supported by Irish rally team PCRS began in late January where the PCRS team relocated to Estonia to compete in three Baltic snow events in Latvia and Estonia to get valuable testing and experience which culminated in success on the crystal snow mountains in the region of Kars (Turkey) which is close to the Armenian and Georgian border.

Kerem set eight fastest times over the 13 stages and set fastest time on the final power stage of the event giving him maximum points after round one.
