New cars n’ coffee event for Tarbert in April in aid of SADS at the Matter Hospital
New event – organiser Ciaran Sheehan sent us this:
Hi everyone, as some of you may know it is coming up to the 10-year anniversary since Mark Fleming was tragically taken from us..so we would like to show his family that he is still thought about every day. Myself and @parkinson1302 met with the Fleming family recently and proposed we have a fundraising charity event in memory of Mark’s 10th anniversary.
So far there has been a lot of organising the last month between An Garda Siochana. Kerry County Council and Tarbert Power Station to make sure this event runs smoothly and everything is done right.
We are having an invite-only cars and coffee down in Tarbert at the ferry car park Sunday, April 21st. As the car park can only facilitate a certain amount of cars we have to keep this invite only in regards to the cars that will be on show, but EVERYONE is welcome to this event and can park in the public car park offered to us by the power station on the day.
All proceeds of this event will be for the SADS department in The Matar Hospital.
The standard of cars that are already coming to this are second to none, fingers crossed we will get the good weather to add to the occasion. Hope to see ye all there.
Just as newspapers and magazines are paid for, digital editorial content will also have to be paid for.
