Rally enthusiasts raise over €8000 for Recovery Haven
Over €8000 was raised for Recovery Haven Cancer House at the Top Part West Coast Rally Championship awards presentation in Tralee on Saturday night.
The regional rally championship was celebrating its 30th anniversary at the Rose Hotel.

Kerry Motor Club was one of the founding members of the championship and hosted Saturday night’s celebration which was attended by over 250 people.

There was a double cause for celebration at the event as the Tralee-based Top Part Motor Factor Group was celebrating its 30th year as the championship’s title sponsor.
It is the longest-running sponsorship agreement in Irish motorsport.
Recovery Haven was named as the night’s beneficiary charity and a raffle on the night raised €6053
This was topped up by Top Part founder and managing director Donie Dillane who added an extra €2000 to the fund.
“It was an absolute privilege to be chosen as the first-ever charity partner of the Top Part West Coast Championship awards night, and we are genuinely overwhelmed by the generosity of the people in the room on the night,” said Marisa Reidy, PR & Marketing Officer, Recovery Haven Kerry

“We would just like to say a huge thank you to [West Coast Championship committee members] Anne and Richard Talbot and all the organising committee for allowing Recovery Haven to be part of such a special event and thank everyone for their truly incredible support, Something the rallying community has shown to us again and again. That support means the world to us and is something we never take for granted.”
