Mossie Costello will receive backing from Motorsport Ireland for 2024.
The 19-year-old will receive financial support and guidance from the governing body throughout the 2024 season.

The Tarbert-based driver national support follows his second-place finish in the Junior 1000 Rally Series for 14- to 17-year-olds in 2022 that runs alongside the Motorsport Ireland National Forestry Championship.
His first event under the Motorsport Ireland banner was the Cork Rallysprint over the Christmas break.
Despite a broken driveshaft on his Ford Fiesta Rally4, Costello set some impressive times in the Cork Motor Club event.
“We had a good first run, eight seconds off the class lead and sixth overall in the two-wheel drive category,” he said.
“Unfortunately on the second run we broke a driveshaft on the start line. We were out of the rally but got back in SuperRally for more seat time and experience for the last two runs.”
He plans to contest the Motorsport Ireland Junior Rally Series for Rally4 cars which runs within the National Forestry Championship. The opening round is the Castleisland-based Killarney Forestry Rally on February 18.
He also hopes to enter the Triton Showers National Rally Championship and the Top Part West Coast Rally Championship.
The Kerry Winter Rally on November 3 is the final round of the latter championship.
