Kris Meeke and Noel O’Sullivan are out of the RAC Rally
An engine problem on the sixth, of seven, stage on the opening day in Wales meant they are not in a position to start on Friday morning.
“Sadly our RAC adventure ended on SS6 due to an issue with the engine and we won’t be able to restart,” said Meeke on a social media post on Friday morning.
“To say i’m disappointed would be an understatement.
“Huge thanks for all the effort from Wales Motorsport to make this event a reality.
“And again to all my sponsors that made it possible. We will be back.”
