5000kms from Perth to Adelaide to do a rally…

Murish O’Connell will contest his first rally outside of Western Australia this weekend.

In his own words….

It’s a fantastic opportunity do a round of the national championships and a first rally outside of Western Australia for me .

The logistics of just getting to the start are pretty full on compared to doing the WA state championship.

It’s about a five  and half thousand kilometre round trip for the service truck carrying the cars, so the effort by the whole team to get us there is absolutely huge .

For this event , KAT are running four Subarus , all entered in the ARC Production Cup .

Kelly Thomas  and Steph Esterbauer  are contesting their third ARC round of the season and scored a well-deserved podium in Production Cup last time out with a brilliant drive at the Gippsland Rally in Victoria .

Three more WRXs,  all built and prepared by Dave Thomas and the KAT Racing team are entered by Shane Smith  and Wayne Richardson , Declan Madigan and Stephen Kelly and Frank O’Shea and myself .

The Adelaide Hills Rally looks really interesting . Three days of competition ,  on mostly high speed gravel stages with a couple of super specials each day at the world class facilities of Tailem Bend Motorsport Park.
