Over 160 vehicles at the ‘Jerry O’Leary Run’

Killarney Valley Classic and Vintage Club in association with Barraduff Community Field held the ‘Jerry O’Leary Run’ on Sunday.
This marks the end of events for the club on what was its tenth year anniversary.

Barraduff Community Field was the start point in what was a beautiful sunny morning. There was a huge turnout of Classic and Vintage cars, tractors, jeeps, motorbikes and lorries.
“Over 160 vehicles in total took part in the runs and there was a huge turnout of locals to see the runs off,” said club PRO Richard O’Donoghue.
The cars went to Millstreet across to Ballyvourney, up to the top of Coom and back via the main road.

The tractors had a local run in the general Barraduff area and passed Jerry’s home on the way.
“Jerry’s wife Bina would like to thank everyone who took part in the runs and helped out in anyway,” added the PRO.
“Killarney Valley Classic and Vintage Club would like to take this opportunity to thank the volunteers on the day who made this possible along with the Barraduff Community.”
