Killarney and District Motor Club will celebrate the connection with the Rally of the Lakes and Prodrive with a special event next month.
The October 14 event will take place at Killarney Racecourse and will raise money for the Jack and jill Foundation.
British motorsport firm Prodrive has a long history of building cars that have won in Killarney and many of the cars that have either won or have finished in top positions in the Rally of the Lakes will be on static display.
Special guests on the night include renowned Subaru engineer Martyn Spurrell, drivers like and drivers like Kenny McKinstry, Denis Biggerstaff., Paul Harris, Hugh Martin Doherty and Niall Maguire– all of whom have driven Prodrive machinery in Killarney will attend.
The evening will be hosted by Alan ‘Plum’ Tyndall.
Tickets – at €20 – will be available online and other outlets shortly.
