Next Sunday, the 30th July 2023 there will be an Autotest competition at K & L Deliveries LTD, Mountleader Industrial Estate, Millstreet, Cork.
This is a cost effective avenue into motorsport which can be done in a standard road car!

This event counts as Round 10 of the 2023 PARTSWORLD Munster Autotest Championship.
It will be held under the International Sporting Code of the FIA, the General Competition Rules of Motorsport Ireland, Appendix 90 and 91 of the current Motorsport Ireland Yearbook and these supplementary regulations.

1. Venues:
• K & L Deliveries LTD, Mountleader Industrial Estate, Millstreet, Co, Cork,
2. Start times:
• Sign-on @10:30am. Start @11:30am.
3. Entry requirements:
Competitors must hold a valid Motorsport Ireland competition licence or MSUK equivalent. This must be produced at sign-on.
4. Penalties:
As per MI Yearbook Appendix 90.
5. ENTRY FEE:
• Standard: €50.00
• Novice: €40.00
• Entries accepted and paid on the day.
6. CLASSES:
A: All Mini Saloons.
B: Front wheel drive Mini Specials.
B1: Non-mini Front wheel drive Specials.
C: Rear wheel drive Sports Cars and Specials.
D: Non-Mini Saloon Cars up to 1350cc.
E: Non-Mini Saloons over 1350cc
F: Road going cars, other than in classes A, B, C, D, E including multi-venue Autotest cars.
G: Novices (in the Championship only).
H: Clubs Class
J: Juniors/ Beginner
7. AWARDS:
• 1st Overall.
• 1st, 2nd & 3rd in each class.
• Competitors may only receive one award on the day.
8. Juniors:
• Must be accompanied by a Guardian.
• In all dealings with officials of the event must be overseen by Child Protection Officer, in the company of their Guardian.
• All Juniors & Beginners will be given a free practice run through a selected test, must be observed by C.O.C and MI Steward to be assessed on car control and ability.
• All junior competitors will run on the simplified version of the tests as used by the Championship ‘Club Class’.
• All junior competitors will be restricted to competing in a 1000cc saloon car. Forced induction will not be permitted.
• Junior competitors are to be afforded same respect and support as all other competitors and expected to reciprocate same.
9. TIMING:
Stopastride timing app will be used for timing & results on the day with traditional master sheet used as backup. Competitors will be given times at end of each test and can record if they wish.
The Stopastride timing app can also be downloaded to view live timing for the event.
Just as newspapers and magazines are paid for, digital editorial content will also have to be paid for.
