Noel O’Sullivan and his driver Callum Devine will be hoping to make it three Irish Tarmac Rally Championship rally victories in a row on this weekend’s Donegal International Rally.
The Volkswagen Polo Gti crew arrive in Letterkenny on the back of two international rally victories in a row.
They won the Circuit of Ireland Rally over Easter weekend and O’Sullivan’s home event, the Rally of the Lakes, in late April.
Those two wins came after a difficult start to the season.
Devine and co-driver, Noel O’Sullivan, struggled to make things work aboard their Volkswagen Polo R5 in both Galway and West Cork. That lack of pace left them languishing outside Irish Tarmac’s top positions and wondering whether they had any chance of challenging for this season’s silverware.

The two seriously impressive April performances secured a brace of maximum scores that are invaluable for a championship chase.
However the Derry-Kerry duo’s rapid run in Donegal came to a gutting end after colliding with a baled chicane on the final day of last year’s rally.
They know they have the pace to add Donegal to the list of their recent victories but will know that a repeat of last year’s result could bid their Tarmac hunt farewell.
Other Kerry co-drivers in action in Ireland’s only three-day event include Elaine NÍ Shé who is on co-driving duty for Tyrone’s Sean Devine in a Ford Fiesta.
Damian Fleming is navigating for Nigel Creagh in the Historic section of the rally in a Ford Escort BDG.
The pair first worked together on the recent Laois Heartlands Rally.
Glenflesk’s Bob Moran is the only Kerry driver on the entry list, and he will drive his usual Ford Escort Mk2 in class 11R.
