What promises to be a very challenging Rally Italia Sardegna has started with a short super special stage in Olbia on Thursday evening.

Patrick and Stephen O’Brien on his first WRC Gravel rally is 333rd over and 16th challenger.
William Creighton and Liam Regan are leading J-WRC – Eamon Kelly and Conor Mohan are fifth in the class after rolling on this morning’s shakedown.
The first full day of the rally is headlined by the famous Monte Lerno stage which has more than doubled in length for this year to 49.9 kilometres. This is preceded by two shorter stages – Tantariles (which was last run in 2004) and Terranova – to form a loop of three tests to be repeated after midday service in Olbia.
