Four Kerry riders in USB action in Kirkistown on Saturday

Anthony O’Carroll was on the Isle of Man doing road-bike laps this week as he continues his preparations for the Manx Grand Prix.

He is still short one race-licence signature so he can upgrade to a TT course licence for the August Grand Prix.

He has entered the Ulster Superbike Championship round in Kirkistown on Saturday in an effort to gain that signature.

He is one of four local riders competing at the County Down circuit this weekend.

Andrew Murphy will make his first race appearance of the year and will be joined by Emmet O’Grady, and Darragh Crean in the third round of the Ulster championship.
