Classic road run season is open – busy April on the roads of Kerry.
With the clock set to go forward one hour on Saturday night/Sunday morning, and the arrival of longer evenings it can only mean one thing.
It is time to get those classic cars out of the sheds after a long winter.
April is already gearing up to be a busy month in the Kingdom with four events planned across the four weekends of the month.
The Kingdom, Veteran, Vintage and Classic Car Club are first out of the blocks. The club’s first event of the year is a ‘Cars ‘n Coffee’ in Golden’s of Kells on the Ring of Kerry. The Sunday April 3 event gets underway at 1030am.

The following Sunday (April 1) the Killarney Valley Classic and Vintage clubs hosts its annual April run – more details on that event will be revealed at the Killarney club’s charity launch at its Classic Shed on the Lewis Road this Sunday.
The Mauric Collins annual run is planned for Easter Saturday – April 16. Cars will leave Ardfert Quarry at 3pm and follow a route to Kerry Head and back.

And on April 24 the KVCCC are back in action with a visit to Mick Neill’s Pub in Camp from 12 noon – as ever Kerry Motorsport News will bring you more information nearer the time – stay tuned and subscribe to make sure you don’t miss out.
