A Tralee Garage has been shortlisted as one of for Apprenticeship Employer of the Year awards.
McElligott’s Tralee, the county’s main Kia, Mercedes-Benz and Honda dealer, is one of just two Kerry companies to make the shortlist.
The other local firm is Sean Taffe’s Hairdressing Group.
McElligott’s is the only motor industry company in the 71-strong nationwide shortlist for companies that are being recognised for their resilience, innovation and commitment to their apprentices.
Meanwhile, the all-new Kia Sportage has gone on display at their Oakpark showrooms since last Friday, November 19.
